I am tiling my backsplash and was wondering what is the best place to start? The shape of the kitchen is like an "L". Should I start in the corner, or centered on a wall?

I always start with a full tile on the ends. Then let the inside back corner lay as it may. You tend to notice the ends more.
Usually you have something in that corner to hide the discrepancy...like a coffee maker or sumthin.:D

Coffee maker....didn't think about that. Very true. Thanks. I have subway tile, so I'm guessing since there is no specific pattern with different colors it probably won't matter where I start.

Anything will look better than drwall :)
