I took apart my bed that is ten years old to transport into my new house.

I have assembled most of it, but not all of it... I have two pieces of wood that I totally forgot where they go... It's been ten years since I purchased it. I have no manual... please help me identify where these two pieces go!

Here are some pictures:

Uprights for a headboard attachment?
Any hole patterns or witness marks that might help ya?

I dont think we have a headboard, I'm not sure what that is.

Those two skinny pieces of wood are baffling me. I just do not know where they go!

It looks like support for the slats. It appears to be drilled to run perpendicular to the slats, and then bolted in to support the frame.
