We purchased a neglected Victorian home and completely gutted, put new insulation and drywall. So, they were bunch of nails we had to take off and put new ones. It was about to be completed a fire strike the home. The wooden columns that holding the structure were not burned that is why we are advised to gut the new items we put on and redo it. What we are worrying is that the columns will be ripped/broken from all the nails, this will be the third time we have to nail everything on the same columns. Any input will be appreciated.:help:
