Hi
is it cost efficeint to have my ac coming on and off about every 20 minutes to keep the tempeture at a nice 78 degrees it just dont seem right . any suggestions
 
Increasing the cycle times (on/off) periods your AC runs can maintain the in-air temperature you desire while potentially saving electricity. If you keep the fan on to continue circulating air, you probably won't be able to feel a temperature difference from the on and off times.
