i have two rooms served by, (i think) the same duct. the returns are sucking air good, but the vents are also sucking in a little air, not as much. all other vents on furnace are blowing hot air ok. the ductwork is not leaking around the blower. i have limited access to the duct, and am wondering if a hole in it would cause the problem.

thanks

Welcome WayneLed:
It sounds more like the duct that serves the two rooms is disconnecetd and the small sucking is draft going up through the vents.

I would agree with glennjanie. Many older homes that I work on have at least one duct that has become disconnected, or was never connected in the first place. If possible, physcially trace the duct from its origin back to the duct boot.
