I bought laminate flooring that needs to be installed. What would be a fair price to pay? I am not sure, so guidance would be nice.

Like Home Depot says; "you can do it, we can help".
Start by reading the instructions from start to finish. Laminates are laid in a variety of ways so, the person you hire to do it would probably have to sit down and read the instructions too.
It requires very few specialty tools which you could buy for far less than you would pay someone else. Give yourself a payday, go out and buy the tools you will need and they will still be yours when the job is done. Where can you beat a deal like that?

If you are still looking for what it would cost stop in Home Depot, Lowes , etc. Most of the time they have a base cost per Sq ft, for them to install advertised on the shelf fronts. Add anywhere from 25% up 100% to that figure and you 'll have a good idea . Cost difference will depend what it is being laid over / # of closet or small areas being incorporated etc.
