How do you stop black and white growth on a concrete patio that does not receive much sunlight?

spray some Mildew Check on the surface following mfg. directions, power wash it off and apply a concrete sealer to the finished/dry surface.

There are plenty of mold detergents that can be purchased strictly used on concrete. I know Home Depot has a few on the shelf
