Hi,

My son broke his bed the other day and I've taken it upon myself to build him a new one instead of going out to the shop and buying one.

Can anyone recommend the tools required for building a bed?
 
It kind of depends on how fancy you want to get. You could do it with only a circular saw, a miter saw, and a drill/hammer.
 
I am in the process of making a King size bed myself... it really depends on how detailed you want it to be... so far I have used a miter saw, table saw, nail gun, and a drill... lots of glue and some clamps

pushed my panels through the table saw... they came out ok but need some sanding planing with a hand plane to clean them up... good enough for me though... plan on making a footboard to match and solid rails as well...
