Greetings,

We just recently installed a vanity in our children's bathroom that came with a marble top and backsplash. We applied a bead of caulk, which is not curing at all. It has been about a week and a half and it is still nor cured. So, is there a certain type of caulk for that application?

Thanks. Be well
Miriam

As far as I know, silicone is what is used. If it's not curing, there may be water in the seam or you have bad caulk.

Old caulk does not cure. It is usually best to buy new caulk for each job .... worth the $5.00 for a good job. :D

Sounds like the wrong product. Some are made to stay soft and pliable. Cleaning the old stuff off may be a trick.
