Greetings

We have installed an Aprilia humidifer about 2 years ago. Now the unit is not working at all. I have checked all the water lines, cleaned the valve and done all that can be done short of replacing the solenoid. Yet, not working. It will work for a very short time, like one run of the furnace after we tweak with it and then stop again. Can anyone here offer me some ideas or advice?
Thanks. Be well
Miriam

Is this a drum type? or spray type? Check to make sure the 24 volt power is coming to
the unit from the humidistat and from your power source.. Paul

Have you check the humidity level in the home. It should be about 45% if it is then the unit may not be opening the relay to run because there's no need for it to.

Power is coming to the unit, so we are mostly sure now that the problem is the solenoid valve. Going to order one so hopefully this will fix.

The humidity level in our house at the moment is 20%. Trust me, it is dry. I wish to be at 45%!

Thanks for the replies. Be well
Miriam
