Hi all, I was at home depot a couple of days ago perusing the isles and saw some pex tubing. I saw red color and blue color tubing which are used for hot and cold applications. but I also saw some cream color ones which I'm not familiar with. anyone know what they're used for?

They are all used for the same thing...
I usually use the blue and red myself because some water will stain and show through the cream colored PEX but will not show through the blue and red....

The staining is harmless but why go through the bother of having people wondering about it...

There are some differences in PEX such as the process used to crosslink the polyethylene and PEX used in heating systems which has an oxygen barrier in it so the ferrous metals used in a heating system do not corrode but thats about it...
