I installed a new plastic tub surround and a new plastic tub and our caulking seems to always crack open when we get in to have a bath or shower. What is happening??
doesn't sound like the tub and/or walls are securely attached and allowing movement when you get in/out and tearing the caulk joint.
Stabilize the installation and recaulk.
