Hello,

My husband and I are having Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer delivered next week. We found a pair of pedestals for A LOT cheaper than reg price but not sure if they will cause issues, as the dimensions are not a 100% match.

Our W/D call for a pedestal that is: H: 15.5 x W: 27 x D: 26.25

The ones we are looking to buy are made for GE and are
H: 15 x W: 27 x D: 28.75

The height and width are fine but it would be sticking out in the back a bit (which I don't care about-as long as it fits). Does the washer/dryer need to snap into the pedestal or would it be ok?

Thanks!

Hi,

The feet may not sit on the stands correctly...all you can do is measure the washer/dryer spacing between the legs ( L to R and back and forth ) and compare to the other stands.

Does the washer/dryer need to snap into the pedestal

Most are bolted on or they use the legs to keep the units on the stands/pedestals.

jeff.
