I had a big long reply typed out until I looked up and realized that you said nail polish REMOVER. So sorry, it sounds like you need to refinish. Depending on what the top is finished with, you may be able to buff it out, but I doubt it. Whatever you do, keep us posted. I'd like to know myself. Nail polish is tough enough to break down laquer. You might try Naptha. It's strong enough to break most of the other finishes I know of.
