Just had the bay windows in our front room replaced with a brand new uPVC windows. Looks absolutely great and the workmanship etc looks spot on. However, slight problem is that now there is NO wallspace between the top of the uPVC window frame and the coving at the top of the wall (there was only a few centimetres before and the new frames are bigger!).

We need to get some curtains or blinds up asap so what do we do? How do we attach blinds or curtain rails to uPVC frames? Am assuming that drilling, even if possible would invalidate the warranty on the new windows so maybe there is some kind of really strong adhesive we could use? Really don't want to have to try and remove the coving itself (it is a very old terraced house but I have no idea if the coving is an original feature or added later).

If anyone has had to deal with this issue or anything like it please share your experience!

Thanks!
