Hello-
My wife and I purchased an 1885 Victorian Queen Anne home three years ago and only now have I gathered the courage to start doing some work on my own, rather than paying others to do it. I told my wife the home didn't really feel like it was ours until I intentionally damaged something (termite ravaged floorboards). I'm nearing completion of painting the entire exterior of the home all by myself, with help from two generous neighbors.
We love our old home and I love this site--lots of useful knowledge here. Thanks!
