We are glad to have you; come on in and drag up a chair. It is normal for self contracted homes to take 2 years so, you are right on schedule. As a DIY'er who has been there, done that you could probably be a big help to others who are contemplating the same thing.
It takes a strong marriage to endure home building, doesn't it?
