:hide: Recently Assembled an 8' X 6' Metal Shed.. Took care to follow the Installation Instructions to the letter.. Problem is the Sliding Doors and they were adjusted to sit flush when closed.. One needs the Two Handed Approach and find the sweet spot without yanking the daylights out of the sliding doors.

Looking for any Tips / Tricks to have the Doors slide smoothly if possible.. Cheers Thanks..

only tip i have when putting that kind of stuff together is leave everything loose till its all together and then stuff can shift around and mate up then tighten it up.

Lithium grease on the track, or silicone spray if you prefer. Also check for slightly bent metal that could be rubbing the track or roller.

:) @ slownsteady... I'll try the Lithium Grease or some kinda spray on goo that will create a Slippery Surface.. It's an Arrow Brand from Home Depot, $249.00 Cdn..lol.. Wish they would have incorporated rollers in the Door Design, it's just plastic square blocks with adjustment holes set in upper track and u-shaped one sided plastic knobs running in the bottom track.. Cheers Thanks

 @slownsteady .... Lithium Grease like Soft Butter on Bread.. Slides Nicely, Will still use the Two Handed Grab Approach..lol.. Now to see just how long the grease will hold up before another application. Cheers Thanks.

alright! grease should last for a good while

;) @ slownsteady... Got a Tip from another DIY Forum, They tried it and it's working fabulously.. Replace the Plastic Blocks with 1" Plastic Rollers that are used as replacement parts for the bottom of the Sliding Screen door to your Patio Door.. Only modification required is to make the screw hole through Door Bracket slightly larger (not much).. Screw fits into hub axle that holds the plastic roller.. All Parts can be Obtained at your local Big Box Home Improvement Centre...:)
