Cleaning porch ceiling

Hi,

I have a wrap around covered porch on the front of my house. The decking was refinished last year. This year I need to clean the painted ceiling over the porch. I would like to spray it with a bleach solution but do not want to damage or discolor the finished deck. Any suggestions as to how much bleach to water I should mix in the sprayer? Any other suggestions would be appreciated too.

I would use tsp not bleach.

What about just hitting it with a pressure washer and plain old water?

Thanks old dog and Neal. Yes I will try just water and a PW first but I don't think that will work. That's ways my first shot just assuming in this case it won't work.

Try spraying with a cleaner the stubborn spots. Something like simple green, or purple power.
