I need to know how to fix this I think my water isn't completely turned off bc the thread on the knob may be worn. Can someone help?

Have not watched the YouTube but if the small screw on the bottom of the valve is corroded, it may crack when you try to remove it. In that case, I typically just replace the entire valve. Just take it to Home Depot or ??? and they can match it with the correct replacement part.

Good luck.

I would do more investigation, it could be a slow leak building up all day or just settling like you suggest. i would remove the shower head one morning let few minutes to stabilize, then put a dry bucket under and check hours later.
