Allan block wall a little higher than code would allow has leaned forward just a little passed center maybe 1* instead of leaning back 9*, it is been like that for years i think. At what point do you say it has to be brought down and rebuilt.

The lady wants to put pavers down on the upper level so it has to be good. But you can't blame her for asking, it would really add to the labour bill.

All the pros are saying take it down and I agree but no one can say it will fall down when --------. So I thought I would ask

Can anyone predict the future moisture content of the soil, both retained and supporting, or at what % the soil will become unstable and incapable of supporting either the wall or that retained?
