I have a big bay window made up of three fairly thick pieces of glass. The middle panel is joined to the two side panels so that the angle formed inside the house is approximately 140.)(outside angle is approximately 220). These joints where the glass abuts up against each other has a deteriorating single piece of tape running the full length from top to bottom. I'm thinking it's a special type of tape. It has mold growing underneath it ( I live in Florida). Anyway, I would like to know how to remove this tape and reseal these joints. We get a lot of driving rain so need something that will hold up. Any ideas on what type of tape or equivalent substitute to use? Thanks.

Is this simular to what you have.

While you're looking for possible repairs, you might consider putting up a storm window guard to help deflect most of the rain.
