Im looking at a product from Daich Coatings ( www.daichcoating.com ) called Roller Rock that is advertised to give a textured slip-resistant finish that I am interested in applying to my front porch steps.

I found after my first winter in Canandaigua that those steps become very slippery with snow, even though I shovel and sweep quickly after each storm.

The current painted surface is very smooth.

Any information on this product or similar surface treatments would be appreciated.

I've only got four steps to do.

but, for the $$$, i'd grind OFF the paint w/diamond cup wheel,,, not a wtr-bas'd epoxy fan,,, 1, just as slippery; 2, epoxies're never recommend'd for ext use; & 3, life's short on this mtl,,, as w/anything else, prep's more important than anything else.
