I have a late 1800's home with a wrap around screened in front porch. The ceiling is bead board and chipping/peeling. I am looking for comments on using a sand blaster with fine crushed walnut. Any comments or suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Bill

sand or walnuts may prove to be too abrasive.

Look into dry ice blasting.

WARNING: You may be dealing with lead based paint.

Dry ice blastimg? That's something I've never heard of but will definetly do some research on.
I am aware of the lead possibilities. I have been stripping the outside using a heat gun and wearing a resporator and suit. Thank you for the idea and the warning.
