Hi everybody. I need to paint this door trim really quickly for the bank. There's a little gap There where the siding fell way at the bottom left. how do you guys suggest I plug this hole? something really quick and easy would be great. I was thinking about cutting a price of plywood and placing it over the siding. The metal door saddle sticks out a little so id have to grind that down. Any thoughts?

Is that real brick? You refer to siding and all I see is brick. I wouldn't use plywood, even for a quick fix. I'd go for something a little more permanent. If you are talking about the area between the step and the bottom of the storm door that is currently painted green, up to the green trim around the door, I'd put in a piece of pressure treated 1x6 to cover the gap. Long term I'd go with something like cellular PVC, AZEK is one brand. http://azek.com/
