Hi everyone, I'm in the process of finishing a room in my basement, the floor is concrete which we have wall to wall carpet installed over. My oil line used to run was below the floor, after pulling up the oil line I have a 2" deep by 2" wide channel that I need to fill. What would you guy's/gal's recommend to fill this? Would Quikrete be sufficient? I also have a few unleveled spots that I would like to fill but I want to make sure I use the right product. Thanks in advance.

Hello Scorask:
The Quickrete is fine for the trench but I would use a 'floor leveler' for the low spots. Concrete needs to be 2" thick to hold in a repair.
