In a few years, I plan to get a forever house. I may end up building on an empty lot. One thing I want to do is too install solar panels. I was told the optimum angle here is 33 degrees. What does that equate to in a pitch?

Is that a good slope for a roof?

That is about where you have to nail cleats on when you are sheeting it.
I think that would be good in a snow area. In the mountains they go up a little more like 10 or 12. A lot of the houses we built around here were a mix of 7 one way and 9 the other.

I guess with those panels they get steeper the more you go north.

I am in line with Vancouver.
