The deck flooring has been installed at a 45 degree angle to the house. The 2x6 floor boards are attached to the ledger. The siding and flashing extend over the nails securing the floor boards to the ledger. How do I replace the floor boards without damaging the siding and the flashing.

I can use wood screws but they will be seated at an angle to catch the ledger.

Any ideas.

What type of siding?
My gut reaction would be to consider the possibility of removing the siding at the bottom and the flashing.
Then after replacing the decking, reinstall the flashing and the siding.
