I was thinking about putting bricks side by side (Perpendicular) around my garden areas so we can run the lawn mower wheels over them to cut around the gardens. My plan is to dig out a path for the bricks to lay flush with the ground, lay weed blocker and then the bricks over it. What do you think?

My second thought is to use a concerte paver mold and make my own concrete edging, but will that be strong enough and durable? Are there any paver molds that you know about that would do the job?

I am looking for a permament but inexpensive solution.

Thanks! Shiane

Hello Shiane:
The digging, ground cover and either brick or concrete on top sounds like a good idea. I would use whichever is cheapest. Home Depot has some paver bricks for 39 cents each; I think that would be your best bet.
