how to take apart this shower handle?

I have a pretty old shower that one of its handle is broken. It can spin but does not do anything. I am trying to take it apart but can not find any screw or plat anywhere. I try to just pull it and the top broke a part, but still does not come off. What brand of handle is this? How do I take it apart?

Sometimes you just have to be a hack, I woiuld do some cutting so you can see inside. If the brass peice is just decoration I would get rid of that.

Normally the cap pops off the end and there is a screw behind it. The knob slips on a spline sounds like your teeth are wore off.

I couldn't pop off the cap. When I tried hard, the pop broke off from the main, but still not coming off (the third picture).

I would take a hacsaw and take some of the outside parts off so you can get to the valve itsielf.

I was finally be able to spin the top cap off. Thanks

Now you should be able tom find a new set of handles.
