I am looking for suggestions on how to better insulate a cinder block building that was built in 1972.
Currently in the summer the AC unit can not keep up with cooling it and same during the winter it can not heat the building.
I am not sure any size unit would keep up with cooling or heating it.

I am leasing this building and had no ideal going into the lease that this building would be this hard to cool & heat.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

I would assume that with a block building you have a flat roof. If so what type of membrane is on the roof? Black roofs absorb a lot of heat and white roofs will reflect thermal radiation to a point.

If you happen to have a sloped roof (gabled) how is the roof ventilated?

Oh, and welcome to House Repair Talk.
