I just got a new table saw today. While putting it together a few drops of sweat hit the table and seems to have stained it. It almost looks like rust. Any ideas on how to remove this?
 
remove it with steel wool. clean the entire surface with Brakeleen & rub a light layer paraffin wax on the entire surface.

Keep table saw covered with a moving blanket at all times. Prevents condensation and more rust.
 
This is all great information guys thanks. I now have both table a d band saw covered. I used some fine steel wool but haven't sprayed anything in it yet. After the steel wool I am left with the spots below but no rust. What will take these stains off or are they going to remain?
