Hi! I'm here because I've inherited my grandma's house and it needs some work. It sat empty for a few years, but most of the work is cosmetic.

I hesitated to post because some of the replies I read were condescending to the OP. Some even retracted their statements after learning a bit more. Specifically I'm talking about the vet that had a question about his roof. However, I am posting because some people seem nice. Condescending is not helpful. Nice is.
 
Welcome to the site. It's just like real life here, you will meet people with all kinds of opinions and ideas. Some good, some bad, and we sometimes trade places, but I think most are really trying to help.
 
Thanks. I was going to wait until I had a question to ask anything, but I saw that I'd have to have 10 posts before I could add pictures and I didn't want to get in a bind where I couldn't show people what I was talking about.
