Hello,

Since we installed out central AC two year ago our stairs haven't been right. they stick when we pull them down. Not sure if they put them back together wrong or they are bent. Can you provide me with home help as to how I fix them. They are currently stuck and I can't even open them at all.

You have some parts bent and un attached on that side can you post a photo of the other side

It looks like the rivet on the hardware is catching the trim you might be able to get something in there and pry it over while you pull it down.
 
Looks like a relatively simple fix. You should be able to just bend it back to shape and at least get it semi functional without needing to do too much work.

Have a pair of pliers that you can grip and apply pressure to the metal with?
