Greetings, I am preparing to add a bedroom & family room with 2 baths to my house in Albany CA. I'm having sticker shock due to the city requirements for my foundation (Expansive soil) even with the down economy. before that starts, I am adding a solar hot water heater along with 2 lowboy electric storage tank heaters in the crawlspace. I have to upsize the hot & cold as well as adding a 220 linem to the heaters.

Hi there, welcome to the forum.. I'm new in here, just drop by to say Hi and hello to you :)

Welcome Voltohm:
It sounds like you are beginning with the Green part first. Will the new water heaters be active or will the sun do all the heating? With the new housing market being down for now, you should be able to get a good price quote from some of your local contractors.
