#1 Brand new to the forum and two totally different questions. I consider myself a DIYer with pretty decent skills. I have an original cast iron tub (1951) that is needing to be re-glazed (re-finished). I got a quote from a professional but its a little spendy. Has ANYONE reglazed a tub using a DIY product?. I have nothing but time and plenty of other bathrooms to use so I dont care how long it takes to prep or how many coats I need to put on. Its only my wife and myself in the house so it doesn't get a lot of use. #2. Would love to make a simple fire-pit for the backyard. There are TONS of ideas on the internet, just thought I'd see if someone made one recently that was easy and simple.

Thanks:

Welcome to the site, there has been good threads here about the tub you might find them in plumbing.

Find a place that looks like this and for about 20 bucks buy one you like.
