Hi,

I live in Arizona, and I'm about to coat my roof with an
elastomeric coating, because my 3 skylights are all leaking.

Should I remove the skylight bubbles before patching the
cracks, or applying the coating? It seems it would be easier
to access the edge of the skylight "box".

Also, my air conditioner ducts were previously coated with
the last coating, so I assume I should apply the coating to the
ducts again, to make them pure white again, so as to reflect the
intense heat of the sun? I have read people have had a big difference
in their cooling bill after coating their A/C duct work.

Thanks for any advice.....

Pressure wash the area you are going to coat to remove debris, apply a bonding primmer, then top coat. Yes, remove the skylights and first source where you can pick new ones up if you break these, cause you likely will.

Remember, clean, dull, dry before you apply any coating.
