I'm wanting to place an outside light on the far side of the house where it's really dark at night.
I already have one over the garage that replaced an old fixture (that is connected to a switch inside the garage) and it works great. It's has the dusk to dawn sensor which is what I wanted.
Here's the link to the one I want to use on the other end of the house:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003EIKPNW/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20
My question is... does a light like this have to be run thru an on/off switch... or can it be wired direct?
I have a junction box not far from where I need this new light to go but I wanted to know if it's OK to wire it direct without including an on/off switch which would have to be up in the attic
