Shower tension rod slips down

It's a sturdy rod. Both ends contact ceramic glazed tile. About once a year the rod falls (Newton was right!). Looking for experienced insight on how to solve. Thx.

I got tired of it, installed 2 of these and a 3/4'' pipe. I can do pullups on it :banana:

get some 3M double stick foam tape at hardware and cut a circle of it for each end and pop it back up.

I just used a flat rubber washer, about the same diameter and under the ends. Tighten it down and never have an issue.

It has a flat rubber washer now.
I think I'll try the 3M tape, can't imagine it going anywhere.

They are adjustable take it down and turn the ends, adds tention.
