I took an insta hot out of my Moms house. it was working great.
and installed it in mine.
not working great.
as you can see by the faucet picture, water is coming out of the vent.

i am a plumber, and the lines were/are still factory marked. i hooked it up the same way it came out
vent to vent, inlet to inlet. and so on

is there a internal ck valve that could be stuck? i have never tore one apart, do not know anything about them

any comments are apreciated
 
Well that sure is interesting.... is the vent blocked/ clogged?
 
no, notice first picture, see the rear stream, that is the vent hole. with water coming out.

i'm puzzled, only thing i can figure, when i took it out
put it in the truck, If it has an internal ck valve. it got stuck open,
?????

i hate to dissect it. but thats the next step.

i'll either fix it, or break it so bad it ant fixable
 
i fixed it, have not a clue what i did, i tore it apart, looked at it, wiggled the connections, blew thru the pipes.
put it back together
and it works, :clap: freaky machine, i think its haunted!!
