Hiya, I'm living with the original (modified slightly) kitchen layout from a post-war cooperative development in NYC for veterans. Original owners paid $50 per room, and some are still here! The development houses a NORC (naturally occuring retirement community). It is an interesting neighborhood, and with a good school district, there have always been young families moving in.
Anyway, I'm planning on renovating that kitchen, and eventually, the bath.
I look forward to finding out about resources in the NYC area.
