Greetings,
I have just finished painting the ceiling, trim and walls in my dining room. I am tackling the hardwood floor next. I am going to rent a floor sander and polyurethane it myself.
Is there a "waiting period" for the paint to cure before I can create dust (assuming the paint is fully dry, of course)?
I am going to have the room sealed off with plastic and have box fans blowing outward in both windows to minimize dust in the rest of the house, but will the walls/ceiling be okay with all that dust?
When I'm done sanding, I plan to lightly wipe down everything with either a damp towel or a dry microfiber towel. It will probably be at least 10 days to two weeks before I am ready to clean up all the dust once I start.
