I have a fridigaire range (mod PLCF489CCG). I have a minor problem where the door switch for the left door is stuck in a depressed state (by door switch, I mean the small button that lets the range know that the door is closed or open).

It is not only depressed, but it seems to be pushed in flush with the front face of the oven (vs sticking out a quarter of an inch as the other door switch does when manually pushed in).

I have tried to pry it out, gently, with no success. Any help would be appreciated.

Your most likely going to have to remove the entire switch from the door to repair or replace it. It's just a spring loaded plastic micro switch with a set of N.C. contacts.
