I have an air vent that's about a decade old that is not working efficiently due to a bunch of debris that caught underneath the cover. I can see a bunch of leaves and such from underneath in the attic. I'm debating on whether or not to remove the screening and let the leaves drop down out of it, maybe take a leaf blower and try to blow everything up and out...or...is there a way to remove the cover off of a roof air vent? I didn't really want to force anything and break off.

This isn't the exact air vent, but in the similar style (attached file):

Thanks so much!!

Just blow it out with a leaf blower.
That screens to keep out trash and critters.
Cover does not just pop off.

yes,, you can take the top off of it.

when you do, put some towels on the floor under and around the appliance.

you will need them when it rains

Take up a air compressor and air pressure the dirt out
