I live in a two story log home. I would like to finish the room above the garage. The guy we bought the house from really freaked up this house and this is the last thing i've gotten to. So, he put one beam like thing down the garage celing and covered it with some 1/2 inch plywood so he could call it a bonus room when selling it. There is drywall on the garage celing so i'm not exactly sure whats there. When you walk across it you can feel the floor move and the drywall cracks. I would like to know what would be involved to fix it and an estimated cost. The garage is about 18x20. Its night so I can only get pics from below. Will get pics of above tomorro. Thanks
