I just purchsed a home which has an extension - not large; laundry room and small entrance way - whcih is suppported by concrete posts. The posts are well below the frost line. Should I have muisture concerns since there is no foundation? The extension is approx. 1.5 - 2.0 ft off the ground. Thanks.

Very poor building practice to have done it that way. I'd wonder if at one time it was just an open porch and someone enclosed it later.
If it was at one time a porch most likly it would have narrower floor joist and rim joist. I've even seen where they left the old deck boards in place and just install plywood right over them.
Cracked sheetrock, bouncy floors, is the result.
