Am designing new house and would like to have access to utilities in the future. My idea is for under slab chase pipes with drained access pit in utility room. The pipes would run from there to kitchen area, with the waste continuing through foundation and out. Gas and water in would have seperate chase pipes.
If anyone has any feedback or info I would like to hear. Thanks

Welcome to the Forum Ronbu:
Your plumber will love you for the chase pipes. It's always a battle to get the pipes through the foundation. Water and Sewer pipes would normally go under the footer to avoid the frost line and to ensure good drainage for the sewer. A chase under the footer can be as easy as digging a passage across the bottom of the footer excavation and filling it back with sand; the water and sewer should be at least 5' apart for obvious reasons.
