We have a Lippert countertop in our bathroom. I guess you would consider it a synthetic marble. I used a cleaner that I thought would be appropriate, but it removed the shiny surface and left a dull surface. Is there any way the luster can be restored?

Welcome Equinox:
Yes, you can restore the luster. You can use car wax to re-shine it temporarily. Or you can get a glaze to put on it from the plumbing store.
All bathroom surfaces have a recommendation of soap and water to clean; the harsh cleaners will remove protective finishes on chrome, china (commode) and bath tubs of any type.
