As most of you know Texas is having hard time with wild fires right now.

One of the greatest causes of this is brush build up due to the drought.

So what do you do with your brush and how do you get rid of it?

Suggestions not including burning it are appreciated.

Without any really good ideas, the only suggustion I have is to rent one of those steel shipping containers to store it in until the danger passes. Is it getting close to where you are.

If you can, dig a hole and bury it, it becomes compost later.
At our farm, I make large piles of brush for burning in the winter, but you obviously cannot take that chance.
I also have another large area I push down with my Kubota tractor bucket, and mix into the surrounding soil.Sort of semi buried, but stay's damp.

I would think about running it thru a chipper and use for mulch or bury it.
