Hey everyone,

Just bought a new house, the gas stove was left by the seller.

The front 2 burners work like a charm. The back 2 really don't lite. They put out gas (I can smell or whatever) but they just keep clicking instead of lighting. If I really sit there and try to lite them over and over for 10 minutes they seem to eventually lite.

I'm pretty handy...any ideas as to what this problem is or if it's something I can fix myself?

Thanks all.

If the electrode that is next to the burner is sparking when you turn on the burner check to make sure that the tip of it is clean.

Can you supply the model number of your range?

You can find the model number on the frame of the range where the drawer closes.

If you need a new electrode you can get appliance parts here.

Hi,

Model#?
http://www.applianceaid.com/model.html Some model# helps.

Can you see a spark/arc?
Checked the burner holes near the electrode/sparker to make sure they are not clogged?
